To be honest, the project that I have been engaged in is absolutely excellent. In this project, I have tree major goals. Firstly, I want to enhance the academic level of English and lay the foundation for future in-depth foreign exchanges. Secondly, I also want to get better understanding of the academic trends in the international frontier and enrich the existing knowledge framework. Thirdly, I prefer to read the original English literature to improve the understanding of literature accumulation. Also, if possible, I will make my best efforts to enhance my academic communication ability and improve theoretical thinking level.
After the project, I have gained knowledge. During the eight-week study, I was able to re-reflect on Hegel's philosophical thoughts and have a new understanding of his Phenomenology of Spirit and Philosophy of Right. It makes me realize that the true spirit of Hegel cannot be restored from the rigid dogmatic understanding. Only in the comparison with Kant and Marx and in the historical background of German ideology, can I get a further grasp of it. Additionally, I have gained skills. The program has special courses to teach English paper writing, which is very helpful to improve our academic level. In this case, I also have gained experience. Oxford is one of the top universities in the world, and its philosophy department is one of the best in the world. Therefore, to have the opportunity to study in the project team of Oxford University and have a close contact with the teachers of Oxford University is a valuable experience, which can enhance our academic confidence, broaden our academic horizon, and contribute to our all-round academic development. Finally, we gained friendship. During the two months of study, I formed a deep friendship with my partner and tutor. We communicated with each other about academic issues in time after class and care about each other's life in spare time.
Above all, in my opinion, it is an unforgettable academic exchange experience and I wish that our school will conduct more and more perfect project like this.
