On the whole, the online communication project with Cambridge University has made me gain a lot.

 

This semester, I took an ethics course taught in English, preliminarily understood the differences between western teaching and our teaching methods, and also learned the difficulties and challenges of teaching in pure English. Therefore, before participating in the online learning of Cambridge University, I will also worry about whether my English level will affect the acceptance of the course content.So before each class, I will upload the teacher to the PPT preview of relevant platforms in advance, and browse the reading literature recommended by the teacher before class. During class, the management teacher who follows up each class will also open real-time subtitles and recording screens and upload them after class, so as to facilitate us to find out and fill vacancies after class. All these works have effectively helped me with my English study.

 

In the thesis writing stage, the teacher also provided very effective help. In school, we often ask to write course papers, but most teachers will only accept the last draft and score him. Whether the selected topic is appropriate or not, and what the scoring standard is, these will not take the initiative to inform the students. Compared with this, there will be more communication between teachers and students in western teaching. First, we need to write essay plan to communicate with the teacher whether the subject matter and structure are appropriate, and then we need to send the draft to the teacher for final modification. The thesis is jointly completed by students and teachers. This model has given me great help, and I thank the teacher for his careful guidance.
